Khaled Iwamura is the face behind one of the most popular digital media companies in Canada and has been the MC of the Japan Festival Canada since day one!

Khaled Iwamura is the founder of QuickBite News, a media company comprised of insauga.com, inbrampton.com and inhalton.com. QuickBite News (QBN) garners 4 million page views per month, in 2018 had over 2.5 million video views and has the biggest social media following in the western GTA, boasting more than 175,000 followers.

Khaled is known as the charismatic TV host and MC. He has a very popular and self-produced TV show, Live with Khaled I. The show airs on Facebook Live in Canada from Mississauga every Thursday night over the summer. Over the last three seasons, it has garnered 250,000 views!

He is also the Canadian Spokesperson for Tokyo Tourism and his “Top5s in Tokyo” video series has reached over half a million views over the past 2 seasons worldwide.

He has emceed major city events on the coveted main stage at Celebration Square, including New Years Eve, Sound Bites Music Festival, Sauga Block Party and Japan Festival Canada.

Khaled Iwamura is also a TEDx Speaker, TV host/producer, MC and part-time pro wrestler.

Betty Li is an active translator, performer, and lyricist in both online and local communities.

She has been working at various conventions and events in North America as translator/guest relations, and has worked with Japanese talents and businesses such as Morning Musume, LinQ, Nobuyuki Hiyama, Asami Shimoda, Midori Fukasawa, and Baby the Stars Shine Bright.

She is a member and the leader of Toronto based Japanese Maid Idol Group ACT102 under the stage name Berry. ACT102 had been assigned as the Official Ambassador of Japan Festival CANADA 2019, and will also be performing on main stage on both days!
