Virtual Japan Festival CANADA 2020

Japan Festival CANADA 2020 was administered as a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thousands of virtual attendees came together online to watch a livestreamed program which featured many staples of the in-person festival, suh as musical and dance performances, cultural and educational sessions, interviews with sponsors, travel destination showcases, and much more.
The virtual festival also brought the community together with a talent contest and a prize giveaway.
ABOUT JFCA 2020
JFCA 2020 encouraged community participation with a talent contest.
Entrants could submit a video of themselves doing any kind of solo or group performance before the festival.
The talent contest winner, Nana Doan, was invited as a special guest to JFCA 2020.
JFCA 2020 also administered a DREAM PRIZE contest for people who attended the virtual festival.
The winner would receive a pair of round trip tickets to Japan and three nights accommodation at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo.
