Street Style Showcase – Inspired by the streets of Harajuku Hosted by GHOST GiRL GOODS
This fashion show will include local designers showcasing their collections of creative, Harajuku inspired looks. From bright colours to fancy frills! You’ll also learn about the origins of Harajuku fashion and different styles found within. GHOST GiRL GOODS is a clothing brand that mixes cool hip-hop styles and cute pop looks as one. Using unique, original designs, fun characters, and bright colours, the official GHOST GiRL creates garments that also tie in her love of music, dance, and Japanese fashion and culture. Her clothing has been showcased on several fashion shows, including G-Anime, Anime North, Yeticon, Japan Festival, and several events held in Toronto. GHOST GiRL also creates special, custom outfits and costumes, and created Mikuro Mika’s performance outfit worn at Japan Festival Canada 2017. GHOST GiRL not only designs clothing, but performs as well! She has danced in several Pop Idol Dance Showcases held yearly at Anime North, was a back-up dancer for J-Pop singer Mikuro Mika at Anime North 2017 and Japan Festival 2017, and also took home 1st Place at the Anime Expo J-Pop Dance Battles in 2015. She has also appeared on NHK World, featured as a Kawaii Reporter in December of 2017. Her report featured the fashion show held at Japan Festival Canada in August 2017.
